The VDE/200 Video Display Extension System extends the distance between a workstation and its monitor up to 3,000 feet or more. It is used in areas where space is at a premium or where data security or environmental issues dictate that a workstation be located remotely from the monitor/projector.

The ServerSwitch allows a single monitor/keyboard to service up to twenty-five Sun workstations. In network centers or environments where a single user needs to have control of multiple workstations, the single monitor control afforded by the ServerSwitch is a unique solution.

The Multi-Switch connects a single monitor to both a PC and a Sun workstation. This eliminates the cost and space of a second monitor and gives users access to both platforms from a single monitor/mouse/keyboard. This approach finds wide acceptance in network control centers where different network management programs traditionally run on both platforms.

The SystemConsoleSwitch connects a single terminal to multiple console ports from computers, workstations and network management devices. Each attached port is provided with memory that stores multiple screens of data for trouble-shooting and monitoring purposes. A remote dialup facility allows a user to monitor activity via telephone access.
